And the Winner Is....

Thrilled that our documentary, "Beyond Their Years, The Incredible Legacies of Herb Carnegie and Buck O'Neil '' was awarded the 2024 Social Impact Stories Award at the ESSENCE FILM FESTIVAL.  Our project was a labor of love shared with Bryant McBride and the Burst Team, Bob Kendricks and the Negro League Baseball Museum and The Carnegie Family.  The Film Festival, a featured event at the 30th ESSENCE Festival of Culture, was super exciting and filled with film and media makers and storytellers. I LOVED IT !!!!  My opportunity to participate and contribute to legacy and ancestry is a blessing and I am so grateful.  Becoming an Executive Producer has taught me to "know their stories, then tell your own".   Watch the Beyond Their Years trailer here.
